{"id":27,"date":"2026-02-22T23:23:22","date_gmt":"2026-02-22T23:23:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/barvarian-potato-salad"},"modified":"2026-02-22T23:23:22","modified_gmt":"2026-02-22T23:23:22","slug":"barvarian-potato-salad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/german\/blog\/2026\/02\/22\/barvarian-potato-salad\/","title":{"rendered":"Barvarian Potato Salad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Ingredients<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>4 c  potatoes,*<br \/>\n1\/2 t  salt<br \/>\n1\/3 c  onion,chopped<br \/>\n2 T  lemon juice<br \/>\n2 c  chicken broth,**<br \/>\n1\/4 c  vegetable oil<br \/>\n1\/2 t  sugar<br \/>\n1    pepper,as desired<\/p>\n<p>* Potatoes should be peeled and sliced 1\/4-inch thick. **<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Cooking Instructions<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Chicken broth may be either home made or commercial.<\/p>\n<p>Boil potatoes in broth with 1\/4 t salt for 5 to 8 minutes, until tender. Drain.  Toss warm potatoes with vegetable oil and onions.<br \/>\nDissolve remaining 1\/4 t salt and the sugar in lemon juice.  Pour over potatoes.
