{"id":114,"date":"2026-02-22T23:23:23","date_gmt":"2026-02-22T23:23:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/german-cheese-torte"},"modified":"2026-02-22T23:23:23","modified_gmt":"2026-02-22T23:23:23","slug":"german-cheese-torte","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/german\/blog\/2026\/02\/22\/german-cheese-torte\/","title":{"rendered":"German Cheese Torte"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Ingredients<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>2\/3 pound graham crackers; crushed<br \/>\n1\/2 C. sugar<br \/>\n1 1\/2 tsp. cinnamon, ground<br \/>\n6 Tbsp. margarine; melted filling<br \/>\n4 eggs, large<br \/>\n1 C. sugar<br \/>\n2 pounds ricotta cheese<br \/>\n1\/2 pint whipping cream<br \/>\n1 tsp. vanilla extract<br \/>\n2 Tbsp. flour<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Cooking Instructions<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Crust: mix all crust ingredients and line the bottom and sides of a spring form pan, saving  1 C. mixture for topping. The recipe calls for 4-6 Tbls. melted margarine. You  may not need the full amount to make a proper crust. Filling: Beat together the eggs and  sugar. Add cheese and rest of ingredients; mix well. Pour carefully into lined pans. Top  with the remaining crumb topping.
