{"id":5086,"date":"2026-02-15T18:47:15","date_gmt":"2026-02-15T18:47:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipe4thecook.com\/\/"},"modified":"2026-02-15T18:47:15","modified_gmt":"2026-02-15T18:47:15","slug":"hot-beef-and-hazelnut-salad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/diabetic\/blog\/2026\/02\/15\/hot-beef-and-hazelnut-salad\/","title":{"rendered":"Hot Beef And Hazelnut Salad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Ingredients<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>1 lb. sirloin steak, sliced across grain into thin strips<br \/>\nMarinade:<br \/>\n1\/4 C. sliced green onions<br \/>\n2 garlic cloves, minced<br \/>\n2 Tbsp. light or regular soy sauce<br \/>\n1 Tbsp. vegetable oil<br \/>\n1 Tbsp. water<br \/>\nDressing:<br \/>\n2 Tbsp. cider vinegar<br \/>\n2 Tbsp. light or regular soy sauce<br \/>\n2 Tbsp. vegetable oil<br \/>\n1 garlic clove, minced<br \/>\n1 tsp. sugar<br \/>\n1\/4 tsp. curry powder<br \/>\n1\/4 tsp. ground ginger<br \/>\n8 C. torn salad greens<br \/>\n1\/4 C. up to 10 coarsely chopped hazelnuts, toasted<br \/>\nsliced green onions<br \/>\nchopped sweet red or green peppers<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Cooking Instructions<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Place beef in a glass mixing bowl. Combine marinade ingredients; pour over beet. Allow to stand, at room temperature, 30 minutes. Meanwhile, combine dressing ingredients; set aside. Place greens in a large salad bowl; refrigerate. In a skillet over high heat, brown half the beef and marinade. Remove and then brown remaining beef. Drain and add all beef to greens. In the same skillet, heat dressing. Pour over salad and quickly toss. Top with hazelnuts, onions and peppers.
