{"id":4110,"date":"2026-02-15T18:44:56","date_gmt":"2026-02-15T18:44:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipe4thecook.com\/\/"},"modified":"2026-02-15T18:44:56","modified_gmt":"2026-02-15T18:44:56","slug":"white-chili-with-chicken","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/crockpot\/blog\/2026\/02\/15\/white-chili-with-chicken\/","title":{"rendered":"White Chili With Chicken"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Ingredients<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>1 pound dry white northern beans<br \/>\n5 1\/4 C. chicken broth<br \/>\n2 garlic cloves minced<br \/>\n1 large white onion chopped<br \/>\n1 Tbsp. ground white pepper<br \/>\n1 tsp. salt<br \/>\n1 Tbsp. dried oregano<br \/>\n1 Tbsp. ground cumin<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp. ground cloves<br \/>\n1 can diced green chilies (7 oz.)<br \/>\n5 C. diced cooked chicken breast<br \/>\n1 3\/4 C. chicken broth<br \/>\n1 Tbsp. diced jalapeno pepper (optional)<br \/>\nFlour tortillas<br \/>\nCondiments:<br \/>\nShredded Monterey Jack cheese<br \/>\nSliced black olives<br \/>\nChunky salsa<br \/>\nSour cream<br \/>\nDiced avocados<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Cooking Instructions<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Soak beans in water to cover for 24 hours then drain. In crock pot or large kettle, combine beans, 5 1\/4 C. chicken broth, garlic, onion, white pepper, salt, oregano, cumin, and cloves. Simmer covered for at least 5 hours until beans are tender. Stir occasionally. Stir in green chilies, chicken and 1 3\/4 C. chicken broth. For hotter taste, add jalapeno. Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
