{"id":3745,"date":"2026-02-15T18:44:42","date_gmt":"2026-02-15T18:44:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipe4thecook.com\/\/"},"modified":"2026-02-15T18:44:42","modified_gmt":"2026-02-15T18:44:42","slug":"pasta-and-meatballs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/crockpot\/blog\/2026\/02\/15\/pasta-and-meatballs\/","title":{"rendered":"Pasta And Meatballs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Ingredients<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>1 can tomato puree-28 oz.<br \/>\n1 can tomato sauce-15 oz.<br \/>\n1 can sliced mushrooms-4 oz. drained and coarsely chopped<br \/>\n1 medium onion finely chopped<br \/>\n2 garlic cloves minced<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp. dried oregano<br \/>\n1\/4 tsp. dried basil<br \/>\n1 tsp. salt divided<br \/>\n1 pound ground beef<br \/>\n1\/4 C. seasoned bread crumbs<br \/>\n1 egg<br \/>\n1\/2 pound angel hair pasta broken into 4 inch pieces<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Cooking Instructions<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>In a crock pot, combine the tomato puree, tomato sauce, mushrooms, onion, garlic, oregano, basil, and 1\/2 tsp. salt, mix well. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, and the remaining 1\/2 tsp. salt, mix well and form into 1 inch balls. Gently place the meatballs in the sauce, do not mix. Cover and cook on the low setting for 5 to 8 hours. Remove the cover and add the angel hair pasta, do not stir. Replace the cover and increase the setting to high.
