{"id":2904,"date":"2026-02-15T18:42:14","date_gmt":"2026-02-15T18:42:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipe4thecook.com\/\/"},"modified":"2026-02-15T18:42:14","modified_gmt":"2026-02-15T18:42:14","slug":"warm-blueberry-cake-with-cream","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/cake\/blog\/2026\/02\/15\/warm-blueberry-cake-with-cream\/","title":{"rendered":"Warm Blueberry Cake With Cream"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Ingredients<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>1\/2 C. butter, softened<br \/>\n1 C. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar<br \/>\n2 eggs<br \/>\n1 tsp. grated lemon peel<br \/>\n1 Tbsp. lemon juice<br \/>\n2 C. all-purpose flour<br \/>\n2 tsp. baking powder<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp. salt<br \/>\n1\/2 C. milk<br \/>\n1 C. blueberries, divided<br \/>\nCream<br \/>\n1 C. whipping cream<br \/>\n2 Tbsp. sugar<br \/>\n2 Tbsp. lemon or orange liquor<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Cooking Instructions<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease 9 inch spring form pan. Ling bottom with wax  paper, grease and flour wax paper. Beat butter and 1 C. sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one  at a time. Add lemon juice and peel. Combine flour, baking powder and salt, add to  beaten mixture alternating with milk. Chop 1\/2 of the berries and add to batter. Pour  batter in pan and sprinkle remaining berries and 2 Tbls. sugar. Bake for 40 minutes  and then cool 10 minutes. Cream: Beat cream and sugar in chilled mixer bowl with  chilled beaters until stiff. Beat in liquor. Remove side of pan.
