Sift dry ingredients. Add vanilla to creamed mixture, then  milk alternately with flour mixture. Stir dates and nuts in last. Place batter in greased  dish. Heat sauce ingredients and pour over batter. Bake at 350 degrees 30 minutes.<br \/>&nbsp;<br \/>&nbsp;<br \/>In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
