{"id":2587,"date":"2026-02-15T18:42:00","date_gmt":"2026-02-15T18:42:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipe4thecook.com\/\/"},"modified":"2026-02-15T18:42:00","modified_gmt":"2026-02-15T18:42:00","slug":"pumpkin-pudding-cake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/cake\/blog\/2026\/02\/15\/pumpkin-pudding-cake\/","title":{"rendered":"Pumpkin Pudding Cake"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Ingredients<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>2 C. all-purpose flour<br \/>\n1\/3 C. sugar<br \/>\n1 tsp. baking powder<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp. baking soda<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp. ground cinnamon<br \/>\n1\/4 tsp. ground cloves<br \/>\n1\/2 C. canned pumpkin; canned<br \/>\n1\/3 C. vegetable oil<br \/>\n1 large egg<br \/>\n1\/2 C. raisins<br \/>\n1 C. orange juice or water<br \/>\n1\/2 C. walnuts; chopped<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Cooking Instructions<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Preheat the oven to 350. Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda,  cinnamon and cloves in a bowl. Stir to mix. Add the pumpkin, oil, egg, raisins and orange  juice. Beat for 3 minutes. Lightly oil a tube pan. Sprinkle in the nuts. Pour the cake batter  over the nuts. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes, until browned. Cool in the pan for 5 minutes  before removing.
