{"id":2584,"date":"2026-02-15T18:42:00","date_gmt":"2026-02-15T18:42:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipe4thecook.com\/\/"},"modified":"2026-02-15T18:42:00","modified_gmt":"2026-02-15T18:42:00","slug":"pumpkin-orange-cake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/cake\/blog\/2026\/02\/15\/pumpkin-orange-cake\/","title":{"rendered":"Pumpkin Orange Cake"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Ingredients<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>2 1\/2 C. flour<br \/>\n2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice<br \/>\n1 1\/4 tsp. baking powder<br \/>\n3\/4 tsp. baking soda<br \/>\n3\/4 tsp. salt<br \/>\n1\/2 C. butter or margarine; soften<br \/>\n2 C. sugar<br \/>\n3 eggs<br \/>\n16 ounce solid pack pumpkin<br \/>\n1\/2 C. orange juice concentrate thawed<br \/>\n1 Tbsp. grated orange peel<br \/>\nGlaze<br \/>\n1 C. powdered sugar<br \/>\n2 Tbsp. orange juice<br \/>\n1\/4 C. walnuts; chopped (optional)<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Cooking Instructions<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Combine flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a small bowl.  Beat butter and sugar in large mixer bowl until crumbly. Beat in eggs, pumpkin, orange  juice concentrate and orange peel. Beat in flour mixture. Pour into greased and floured  13&#215;9 inch pan. Bake in preheated 350 oven for 40-45 minutes or until wooden pick  inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely on wire rack. Spread Glaze over  cooled cake; sprinkle with nuts.
