{"id":2498,"date":"2026-02-15T18:41:58","date_gmt":"2026-02-15T18:41:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipe4thecook.com\/\/"},"modified":"2026-02-15T18:41:58","modified_gmt":"2026-02-15T18:41:58","slug":"pecan-pound-cake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/cake\/blog\/2026\/02\/15\/pecan-pound-cake\/","title":{"rendered":"Pecan Pound Cake"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Ingredients<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>1 C. butter or margarine<br \/>\n3 C. sugar<br \/>\n6 eggs<br \/>\n3 C. flour<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp. salt<br \/>\n1\/4 tsp. baking soda<br \/>\n1\/2 pint sour cream<br \/>\n1 tsp. vanilla<br \/>\n1 1\/2 C. pecans<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Cooking Instructions<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and mix well. Sift flour, salt and baking soda together  and add. Add sour cream, vanilla and 1 C. of pecans; blend well with mixer. Pour into  greased and floured 10 inch Bundt pan. Top with remaining 1\/2 C. of pecans (optional).
