{"id":2330,"date":"2026-02-15T18:41:56","date_gmt":"2026-02-15T18:41:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipe4thecook.com\/\/"},"modified":"2026-02-15T18:41:56","modified_gmt":"2026-02-15T18:41:56","slug":"milky-way-cake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/cake\/blog\/2026\/02\/15\/milky-way-cake\/","title":{"rendered":"Milky Way Cake"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Ingredients<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Four 2 1\/2 ounce chocolate with caramel candy bars<br \/>\n1\/2 pound butter<br \/>\n2 C. sugar<br \/>\n4 eggs; large<br \/>\n1 C. buttermilk<br \/>\n2 1\/2 C. flour; unbleached, sifted<br \/>\n1\/4 tsp. baking soda<br \/>\n2 tsp. vanilla extract<br \/>\n1 C. pecans; coarsely chopped<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Cooking Instructions<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Melt candy bars and 8 Tbls. butter in double boiler. Let cool. Preheat the oven to  350 degrees. Cream remaining butter with sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Add buttermilk  alternately with flour and soda. Add vanilla and candy mixture and mix until smooth.  Fold in pecans. Pour into a greased and floured bundt pan. Bake for 1 hour or until cake  tester comes out clean. Cool for 15 minutes in the pan and then turn out on rack to finish  cooling.
