{"id":1472,"date":"2026-02-15T18:41:28","date_gmt":"2026-02-15T18:41:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipe4thecook.com\/\/"},"modified":"2026-02-15T18:41:28","modified_gmt":"2026-02-15T18:41:28","slug":"banana-pudding-cake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/cake\/blog\/2026\/02\/15\/banana-pudding-cake\/","title":{"rendered":"Banana Pudding Cake"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Ingredients<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>1 box yellow cake mix<br \/>\n1 small package banana instant pudding mix<br \/>\n4 eggs<br \/>\n1 C. water<br \/>\n1\/4 C. vegetable oil<br \/>\n3\/4 C. mashed ripe banana<br \/>\n2 C. confectioners sugar<br \/>\n2 Tbsp. milk (may need up to 3 Tbsp.)<br \/>\nDash vanilla extract<br \/>\n1\/2 C. finely chopped walnuts, optional<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Cooking Instructions<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Combine cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, water, vegetable oil and banana. Beat with  electric mixer for 2 minutes. Pour into a greased and floured bundt pan. Bake in a  preheated 350 oven for 50 to 55 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool cake on a wire  rack for 15 minutes then remove cake and continue to cool on rack.  Glaze: Wisk confectioners&#8217; sugar, milk and vanilla in a bowl until smooth and of a  drizzling consistency. When cake is cooled, drizzle icing over cake with a zigzag back  and forth motion.
