M Ashed Potato Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
1/8 tsp. salt
3 squares of unsweetened chocolate
1 C. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 C. milk
1 C. margarine
4 eggs, separated
2 C. sifted flour
2 C. sugar
1 C. mashed potatoes
Cooking Instructions
Heat milk and chocolate in a saucepan, stir until melted and then cool. Cream 1 3/4 C. of the sugar with margarine. Add egg yolks and mashed potatoes; mix well. Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry. Add 1/4 C. of sugar to egg whites and beat. Fold into cake mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
