Apple Dapple Cake
Ingredients
3 eggs
1 1/2 C. salad oil
2 C. sugar
3 C. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
2 tsp. vanilla
3 C. apples; chopped
1 1/2 C. pecans; chopped
Topping
1 C. brown sugar
8 Tbsp. butter
1/4 C. milk
Cooking Instructions
Mix eggs, salad oil, and sugar. Add flour, salt and soda. Add vanilla, apples, and nuts. Mix well. Pour into greased ring pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until done. Pour hot topping over cake while still in pan, cool completely before removing from pan. Topping: Combine ingredients and cook 2 1/2 minutes. Pour over hot cake.
