Apple Brandy Cake
Ingredients
5 Tbsp. apple brandy
4 C. apples; peeled and chopped
2 C. flour; all-purpose
2 tsp. cinnamon; ground
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. nutmeg; ground
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cloves; ground
1 C. walnuts; chopped
1 C. raisins
2 C. sugar
1/2 C. oil; salad
2 eggs
Powdered sugar
Cooking Instructions
Sprinkle brandy over apples, and set aside. Combine flour, cinnamon, soda, nutmeg, salt, and cloves; stir in walnuts and raisins. Combine sugar, oil, and eggs; beat well, and blend into flour mixture. Stir in apples. Spoon batter into a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Remove and cool on wire rack. Sift powdered sugar over top.
