Pare apples and chop into bite-size pieces. Put in a 4-cup measure, sprinkling with cinnamon sugar as you add apples.  When you have 4 cups, put apples, water and butter into a saucepan. Cover and cook over low to medium heat, stirring once or twice, for 15-20 minutes or until apples are tender.  Serve for breakfast with biscuits or grits and eggs.  Makes 2 2\/3 cups.  Breakfast Apples.  Prepared in minutes, they make a surprising and rewarding way to &#8220;breakfast&#8221; at your home, when slathered generously on buttered hot biscuits or breads.<br \/>&nbsp;<br \/>&nbsp;<br \/>&quot;I gave you milk to drink, not solid food; for you were not yet able to receive it.
