Delicatessen Rye Bread
Ingredients
2 1/4 tsp. yeast
2 2/3 C. bread flour
1 C. rye flour; plus 2 Tbsp.
2 1/4 tsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 Tbsp. caraway seeds
1 1/2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 1/2 tsp. barley malt syrup
1/3 C. sourdough starter
1 C. -water; plus 2 Tbsp..
Cooking Instructions
Combine all ingredients in bread machine according to manufacturer’s instructions. Process in regular bake cycle. remove from baking pan, and cool on a wire rack.
