{"id":72,"date":"2026-02-22T20:05:40","date_gmt":"2026-02-22T20:05:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/creole-steak"},"modified":"2026-02-22T20:05:40","modified_gmt":"2026-02-22T20:05:40","slug":"creole-steak","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/beef\/blog\/2026\/02\/22\/creole-steak\/","title":{"rendered":"Creole Steak"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Ingredients<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>2 lb. lean round steak<br \/>\n1\/4 C. flour<br \/>\n2 tsp. salt<br \/>\n2 tsp. paprika<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp. pepper<br \/>\n3 Tbsp. vegetable oil<br \/>\n1 C. onion, chopped<br \/>\n1\/3 C. green pepper, chopped<br \/>\n16 oz. canned tomatoes<br \/>\n1\/2 C. raw rice<br \/>\n1 C. condensed beef broth<br \/>\n1 C. water<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Cooking Instructions<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Cut steak into 7 equal serving pieces. Mix flour, salt, paprika, and pepper, dredge meat in mixture. Heat oil in a large frying pan. Lightly brown onions and green peppers and remove from oil. Brown meat in remaining oil. Cover meat with onions and green peppers. Cut up tomatoes and add with their liquid to meat. Sprinkle rice into pan.; add broth and water. Mix thoroughly. Bring to a boil, turn heat down, and cover tightly.
