Ingredients
Crust:
6 C. flour
1/2 lb. lard
1 tsp. salt
Filling:
10 med. potatoes
3 carrots
1/2 med. onion
2 lbs. ground beef
1/4 lb. butter or margarine
salt & pepper to taste
Cooking Instructions
Mix together crust ingredients as a pie dough and add cold water until easy to handle without sticking. Cut up potatoes in small pieces, shred carrots, cut up onion and break up ground beef. Place all into a large bowl and add melted oleo or butter, salt and pepper. Mix together well. Divide dough into six parts. Roll out each part as a pie crust. On one half of each place filling and bring other side over and seal edges. Bake on a cookie sheet in 350ΒΊ oven for one hour. Serve hot with catsup or butter.
