Cheddar Apple Breakfast Lasagne
Ingredients
1 C. sour cream
1/3 C. brown sugar
2 (9 oz.) pkgs. frozen French toast or 12 slices homemade
8 oz. sliced ham (can use shredded, easier to serve)
2 1/2 C. (20 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
1 (20 oz.) can apple pie filling
1 C. granola with raisins
Cooking Instructions
In a small bowl, blend sour cream and brown sugar, chill. Prepare French toast according to package directions. Place 6 slices in bottom of greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Layer ham, 2 cups cheese and remaining 6 slices of toast. Spread apple pie filling over top and sprinkle with granola. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven 25 minutes. Top with 1/2 cup cheese and bake until cheese is melted (5 minutes). Serve with sour cream sauce. 6+ servings.
